After lots of staring at pixels, a blur can become a chip. Probably one to let through to the keeper.

Sorry, Tubby, but I don't see the chip in my close-up of the original source, and if you look, none of the other shirts in entries have that chip. You take that chip off your shoulder. LOL

It is possibly that I might've missed the shadow in the curve, however, so I'll just put it down to a cheap shirt.

Good question. Because I was using a much brighter background colour, I needed to check. If you bring up the shadows, there is actually that exact "chip" in the shirt, hence that extra bit along the right. Trust me, it's there. It's just in the dark.

Of course, I understand it's not a real ad. I was in the ad business all my life, and still want to look at commercials on tv to the dismay of my wife, we argue all the time.

Smoothing of the skin was mostly recolouring. First spot healing. Then frequency separation. Then recolouring/relighting and some replacement of textures. New layer clipped to the texture layer allows you to replace texture without relative destruction.

Basically used the pores from the lower cheek to make the pores on the chin. Youtube frequency separation. It's the bees knees of colour/texture management.

Thanks :) Healing gives more control. After separating the texture, mostly used healing tool and then clone stamp with warp (on new masked layer) to recreate the pores on the chin that weren't there before. Then recoloured the skin on the colour layer

If this was an advertisement theme, it would on top. See what I mean, I know the product has to be the showcase. I've actually designed for Glade, Stan Lee Foundation. and other products, professionally. IMHO, if you wanted to show him in his photo sho

The razor is meant to look like that. Having worked in advertising for many years, the product is alway foremost and, when the budget is low, almost never perspective perfect.

The razer looks like it's floating on the purple thing that goes behind his left arm, This is also not an advertising contest, it's a time attack. An ad shoot would not have the product in front like that, but the final picture would.

Tell you what. You just do the shirt. Change "Culprit" to "critic" wrapped in the folds. Forget removing the blemishes, facial hair, tonal variances, etc. I already changed it to "Smooth" and made it gold. But everything else is easy, right?

I'm not taking the piss.. I actually want to know why this is worth 50. There is serious work in this. won't go into the detail but actual professional grade work. Granted, not well done in some parts but I want to know where. You can help with that.
